In January, I wrote a series called Stepping Into My Bold Move Era.
It was about undercharging — something so many of us do — and how I took a big leap with the price of our Virtual Coworking Club. (You can scroll back on our Instagram to see it, here’s the first post.)
Well, I just made another bold move.
In case you missed it: I ran a four-week campaign with less than three weeks of prep. It was fast. It was big. And it worked.
I guess you could say I’ve found some momentum for bold moves.
I feel like I’m getting out of my own way and getting on with the job. And honestly? I’m proud of myself.
The Productivity Illusion campaign was a big swing.
No, it wasn’t the perfect time.
No, I didn’t execute everything I’d planned.
No, it didn’t hit every single goal I set.
But it was incredible. And what it did for me personally? That’s something no metric could measure.
I feel good about marketing my business — both of them, actually.
I’ve got ideas coming out of my ears.
And I’ve got the momentum to keep going.
Ever just needed to get out of your own way?
Me too.
I could’ve made a million excuses:
→ The lead time was (really) short, and I like to be organised.
→ I didn’t have a big budget, and my big ideas weren’t cheap.
→ My skin is awful right now, and I hate being on camera.
→ Client work is booked in, and deadlines don’t wait.
→ Late nights were inevitable, and I like having decent work hours.
But I knew this was something I needed to do, both for my business, and for myself.
So I did the thing. And I’m really glad I did.
And I didn’t do it alone (well, technically I did most of it alone). There’s nothing a little encouragement can’t fix and I’ve been lucky to receive so much support, both publicly and behind the scenes.
That’s why I care so much about creating spaces like this. Because solo business doesn’t have to mean doing everything solo.
Whether it’s a bold move or a small step, having people to talk it through with makes a difference.
Here’s to the next bold move — hit reply and tell me yours.

P.S. The Productivity Toolkit bonus? That wrapped on Monday. But if you missed it? Don’t stress — the doors to our Virtual Coworking Club are always open. The bonus was just that. A bonus. You can join when you’re ready — today, next week, next month. (But if structure and clarity sound good right now? We’d love to see you inside.)
