An update on Cool Wow Collective (and an opportunity)

profile

Solo doesn’t have to mean going it alone.

Cool Wow Collective is a community built for female freelancers and founders who crave connection, collaboration and progress without compromising individuality. Being part of the crew is like having coworkers, but only the good kind. Not the ones who heat up tuna in the microwave.

Hi Reader,

I want to share some news with you directly, as many of you have followed Cool Wow Collective's journey from the beginning — both my own beginning in late 2022 and Haley’s work to build the brand in earlier years.

After much thought and reflection, I've decided to sell Cool Wow to the right person who can take it into its next chapter of growth.

Over the past 2.5 years, it's grown into a thriving space where people can find genuine support, practical coworking sessions and connection without the hustle culture nonsense.

While I'm incredibly proud of what we've built at Cool Wow, I've recognised that it deserves someone who can give it the dedicated attention it needs to reach its full potential.

I also run a second business, Assembld, and it’s been hard to give both the focus they deserve.

After deep reflection, I've recognised my professional energy and strengths in campaigns, writing and strategy are currently better aligned with Assembld's work with tourism and event brands.

Why share this with you?

Because you know me, my work and my values. If you're someone who's been thinking about stepping into the community business space or if you know someone who might be perfect for this opportunity, I'd love to connect.

Cool Wow has:

  • A proven business model
  • Strong community engagement and retention
  • Established systems and brand recognition
  • Clear potential for growth and expansion

I'm looking for a buyer who shares Cool Wow's values of authentic community building and genuinely wants to support solo entrepreneurs. This isn't just a business transaction, it's about finding the right steward for something that's made a real difference in people's professional lives.

If you're curious to learn more, or if someone comes to mind who might be interested, please hit reply. I'm happy to share more details about this opportunity.

Thanks for being part of this journey, whether as a member or supporter. Your encouragement has meant the world.

More updates to come, but it'll be business as usual for now!

Rach

What we're liking RN

  • Working in silence: No podcast, no playlist, just quiet. Underrated.
  • Time blocking without the guilt: There’s always client work. Always something urgent. But what if you gave your own business some proper attention and just saw what happened?
  • Watching something that doesn’t teach you anything: It doesn’t need to be educational. It can just be comforting. See also: rewatching Gilmore Girls for the 547th time.

June Coworking Days tickets on sale

Last week’s big session was full of momentum, good convos and “I actually got stuff done” energy. And we’re doing it all again on Wednesday 25 June.

If you’ve been meaning to come along, this is your sign.

P.S. Dates for the rest of 2025 are Wed 6 August, Wed 17 September + Wed 19 November. (We might be adding another date in October or December, if there's enough interest — hit reply and let me know.)
